Can anyone give me a few books to read?

I'm looking for amazing books that some of you have read. I'm am but an 8th grader. I hate cliche books or gossip girl type. Not into much romance. I prefer fantasy, action adventure, comedy, that type. Don't suggest twilight or anything by stephanie meyer. I read them and sorry but they suck. I love brave new world, things by lois lowry, number the stars, alot of things related to the holocaust, things like roald dalh, and similiar to judy blumes books are good too.
