Why are American so against Mexicans "stealing" their jobs, yet are they keep outsourcing their own jobs?
I don't think it is specifically mexican people that are 'stealing' american jobs. You kind of answered your own question when you touched on cheap wages. The problem lies with the american government. There needs to be incentives for these big companies to employ home labor as opposed to outsourcing for cheap labor. The average american cannot survive on the wages offered to mexicans, who cost of living is a lot cheaper than those living in america. Even here in Canada we have plenty of jobs that are outsourced, and some would claim that it's because canadians won't work these jobs. No it's not the jobs, it's the wages attached to the jobs. Our cost of living is more expensive. Why would an employer pay $10-15/hr when that same job could be had for as much as half that? Even with outsourcing costs, it's cheaper for the employer to run his business. So the anger lies not with the people, but with the situation.
