Should I forget about the other guy?

Ok basically I like my bf alot and I like this other guy (sort of because I don't know him as much as I knwo my bf). I'm going out w/ the other guy in 2 weeks and my bf doesn't know. I'm not going to cheat on my bf. I'm only going out w/ the other boy because I had a feeling there could be something better w/ him than w/ my current bf. I don't know how to start a conversation w/ the other guy cuz he rarely talks on AIM. I want to talk and bring up conversations so when we hang out it's not super duper awkward. On the date I wanted to go to the beach but I'm SO scared it'll be way to romantic? I really want to go to the beach because I think it'll be a really nice, carefree thing 2 do... but I don't know how to talk to him on AIM?! He barely responds 2 me now! I don't know!!!
