Just another paranoid swine flu question....?

was in Mexico last month, around the playa del carman area..... currently have your common lingering head cold, but with all this freaking out going on around me especially concerning parents at my work, who since hearing that i've been to Mexico recently are ready to quarantine me, so I have a question...... does anyone know if it is possible to have picked up this virus over a month ago with no symptoms yet?
