Do I need to seek treatment for a skin lesion caused by elemental iodine?

I was in a chemistry lab earlier today and was working with elemental iodine. I'm uming a small pellet of it got on my table and I got it stuck in my elbow when I pressed down. I just noticed it recently, and it's caused a small black crater with a yellow stain around it. Do I need to go to a doctor for this, or will it resolve itself on it's own and heal?
