Fiance is diabetic, can he insulin be transmitted through ?

My fiance has type 1 diabetes and is insulin dependent. He takes a time-release control insulin every night, plus fast-acting insulin with every meal. When we first got together, he didn't manage his diabetes and never took insulin. A year ago, he almost died and was hospitalized and it scared him enough to get him to take care of himself - he began taking his insulin correctly. Shortly thereafter, I began feeling tired and shaky very often. I used to test my own blood sugar with his kit in the past and it was always normal (90-120). When I tested my blood again after I started feeling like this, my sugars have been anywhere from 50-70 almost every time. My diet hasn't changed and I've done nothing different. I don't know if this is ridiculous or not but can synthetic insulin be transmitted via semen? Could it be possible that I am hypoglycemic because he s his insulin into me?
